Koala Bottle Bicycle System

The magnetic system is designed to hold firmly even on bumpy trails or gravel. The audible click confirms the bottle is locked in, and the magnetic force is strong enough to prevent the bottle from dislodging during standard mountain biking vibrations.

The Koala Bottle system is specifically designed for compatibility with Big Mouth and Purist bottles. It is not a universal cage, so you will need to use the provided bottle or a compatible replacement to ensure the magnetic base functions correctly.

The magnetic base adds a small amount of weight and structure to the bottom of the bottle but does not significantly reduce the overall fluid capacity. You can still wash the bottles as you normally would, though you should avoid submerging the magnetic component in boiling water or harsh chemicals.

The system mounts to standard water bottle cage braze-ons found on most road and mountain bike frames. If your bike lacks these mounting points, you would need an aftermarket adapter to use the Koala Bottle system.

While side-entry cages rely on friction and physical tension, the Koala Bottle uses magnets to guide the bottle into place. This makes it much easier to re-stow your bottle without looking down, as the magnets essentially pull the bottle into the locked position for you.
