The Unibasket is designed to be compatible with most standard 58mm portafilters. However, because portafilter basket shapes can vary slightly between manufacturers, we recommend checking that your portafilter has a standard depth and clearance to accommodate the full-diameter design.

By utilizing the entire diameter of the basket, the Unibasket ensures water flows through the outer edges of the coffee puck that are often ignored by standard baskets. This leads to a more uniform extraction, which typically results in higher clarity and a more balanced flavor profile.

Yes, the single-piece design eliminates the seams and structural weak points found in traditional multi-part baskets. This creates a more rigid, consistent basket that is less prone to warping and helps reduce channeling during your shot.

The EPFs (Extra Precision Filters) and Puck Saver are included to help manage flow and keep your group head clean. The Puck Saver sits on top of your coffee bed to distribute water evenly, while the filters help maintain a clean extraction environment.

Because the Unibasket extracts more efficiently than standard baskets, you may find that your current grind setting flows a bit faster. You might need to adjust your grind slightly finer to achieve your desired extraction time and flavor balance.
