Both options work beautifully. Because it has a vining habit, it looks excellent trailing from a hanging basket, but training it on a trellis can help manage its growth and often encourages more robust foliage development.

With the right care and sufficient light, it has the potential to produce fragrant, waxy blooms. Keep in mind that Hoyas generally need to be mature and well-established before they start flowering.
