These cannas prefer part to full sun. While they can handle partial shade, you will get the most vibrant tangerine blooms and the sturdiest stems if they receive at least six hours of direct sunlight daily.

Orange Punch Cannas are hardy in USDA zones 3-9. However, because they are tropical plants, gardeners in cooler zones (typically below zone 8) will need to dig up the bulbs and store them indoors during the winter to protect them from freezing temperatures.
