Amaryllis Minerva is hardy in zones 9-11. If you live in a region with colder winters, these bulbs should be kept indoors as houseplants or treated as annuals, as they will not survive freezing temperatures in the ground.

Plant the bulbs with the top third of the bulb exposed above the soil line. A planting depth of about 1 inch is sufficient for the root system, but burying the bulb too deeply can lead to rot.

While they are often grown individually in pots for indoor displays, you should allow for about 12 inches of spacing if planting them in a larger container or garden bed to ensure proper airflow and room for the foliage.

At a mature height of 18-24 inches, these stems are generally sturdy. However, if your indoor environment has low light, the stems may stretch toward the window and become top-heavy, in which case a simple decorative stake can provide necessary support.
