The Comète speakers are designed specifically for smaller to medium-sized listening rooms. While they deliver impressive, detailed sound, they may struggle to fill a very large, open-concept space compared to floor-standing models.

These are passive speakers with an impedance of 8 ohms and a recommended power range of 25 to 130 watts. Most standard integrated amplifiers or stereo receivers within this power range will drive them effectively.

The decoupling spikes are essential for isolating the speaker cabinet from your stand or shelf. By minimizing vibration transfer, they help tighten the bass response and prevent unwanted resonance, resulting in a cleaner, more precise sound.

While you can place them on a shelf, they are optimized for stand mounting. Using dedicated speaker stands allows for better positioning and vibration control, which is necessary to get the most out of the 6-inch midwoofer and the overall soundstage.
