Sneeboer Fork & Mattock

The combination of a mattock blade and a two-tined fork allows you to cultivate soil and extract weeds without swapping tools. It is particularly efficient for quick, surgical work in dense garden beds where carrying multiple implements is cumbersome.

While the hand-forged construction is incredibly durable, this is a precision hand tool, not a full-sized mattock. It is best suited for weeding, aerating, and cultivating in established borders rather than heavy excavation or breaking virgin ground.

Cherry wood is a dense, high-quality hardwood that offers excellent durability for garden tools. To ensure longevity, we recommend wiping the handle clean after use and occasionally treating it with a light coat of boiled linseed oil to prevent it from drying out.

The tool is rust-resistant, but it is not rust-proof. Like any high-quality steel implement, it should be cleaned and dried after use and stored in a dry place to maintain the integrity of the metal and the handle.
