While its tapered steel pick offers excellent penetration, its ultralight construction and 46 cm length make it better suited for rapid ascents and couloirs where weight savings are critical.

A B-rating (Basic) indicates that the shaft is designed for general mountaineering and ski touring use, rather than the more rigorous demands of technical ice climbing. It is built to handle the forces encountered in steep snow and ice travel, but it is not intended for heavy-duty, repeated impacts against rock or extreme technical climbing.

The Trigrest is an adjustable hand rest that allows you to change your grip position without needing tools. It slides along the shaft, letting you move it up for a more comfortable hold during walking or down to provide a secure, ergonomic grip when you need to choke up on the tool for steeper sections.
