Specialized Stumpjumper Extension Kit

This kit is designed specifically for Specialized Stumpjumper models produced between 2021 and 2024. It is not compatible with older generations or other Specialized mountain bike frames.

This component is engineered to maintain the exact factory suspension geometry of your Stumpjumper. Using a non-specific part can alter your bike's leverage ratio, bottom bracket height, and overall handling dynamics, which can negatively impact performance.

The kit features a hybrid construction of carbon and alloy. This combination is chosen to balance the lightweight properties of carbon with the structural durability required for high-stress suspension linkage points.

While the installation is straightforward, you will need standard bike mechanic tools, including a torque wrench to ensure the bolts are tightened to Specialized's factory specifications. If you are not comfortable working on suspension linkages, we recommend having a professional mechanic perform the installation to ensure safety.

This component should be inspected during your regular suspension service intervals or if you notice any play or creaking in the rear linkage. It is an essential part to replace if you detect any wear, fatigue, or damage to ensure your suspension continues to function as intended.
