This fork is designed for 29-inch wheels and features a tapered steerer tube (1.5" to 1-1/8"). You should verify that your frame is compatible with a tapered steerer and that your front hub uses a 15x110mm thru-axle standard before purchasing.

The crown adjustment allows you to switch between three distinct damping modes: open for rough descents, pedal for efficient climbing, and lockout for smooth roads or sprints. It is a manual adjustment located directly on the fork crown, letting you adapt your suspension feel instantly while riding.

Not at all. Like most modern air forks, you simply use a standard high-pressure shock pump to adjust the air pressure to match your body weight. RockShox typically provides a setup guide on the fork leg to help you find the correct pressure for your specific rider weight.

This model offers 120mm of suspension travel. This is a versatile amount of travel that balances bump absorption on technical trails with enough efficiency for longer cross-country rides.

If you have experience with bike mechanics, it is a manageable task, but it does require specific tools like a crown race setter, a star nut setter, and a hacksaw to cut the steerer tube to the correct length. If you are not comfortable measuring and cutting the steerer tube, we recommend having a professional mechanic handle the installation to ensure safety.
