While the DTH excels on hard-packed surfaces like pump tracks, skate parks, and pavement, it is not designed for loose, loamy, or muddy trails. The grooved-slick tread pattern is optimized for speed and grip on firm ground rather than loose terrain.

EXO is a dense, cut-resistant material layer added to the tire's sidewalls. It helps prevent abrasions and slices from sharp rocks, curbs, or debris, which is particularly useful for urban riding where you might encounter unexpected hazards.

The Maxxis DTH is a clincher tire designed for use with an inner tube. While some riders may experiment with tubeless setups, this specific model is not officially rated as tubeless-ready.

The 60 TPI (threads per inch) casing strikes a balance between durability and weight. It is robust enough to handle the impacts of dirt jumping and street riding while remaining supple enough to provide a lively, responsive feel compared to heavier, stiffer tires.

This tire is designed for 26-inch wheels with a 2.15-inch width. Before purchasing, ensure your frame and fork have adequate clearance for a 2.15-inch tire and that your rims are compatible with 26-inch clincher tires.
