Campagnolo Ergopower Lever Hoods

These hoods are specifically engineered for pre-1998 Record and Chorus, pre-1999 Athena and Veloce, and all Avanti shifters. If your components fall outside these specific legacy ranges, these hoods will not provide the correct fit.

Installing vintage hoods can be tight, but it is straightforward. We recommend using a small amount of isopropyl alcohol inside the rubber to help them slide over the lever body more easily, which will evaporate quickly once positioned.

While they won't change the mechanical action of your shifting, they will significantly improve your tactile experience. Fresh, tacky rubber provides better grip and vibration damping, which makes the cockpit feel more secure and responsive during long rides.

No special tools are required. You can typically remove the old, degraded hoods by peeling them off and sliding the new ones on by hand, though a blunt plastic tool can sometimes help pry them into place if the rubber is particularly snug.

These specific replacement hoods are only manufactured in black. This classic color is designed to match the aesthetic of the original vintage component groups.
