The set comes with two self-storing leaves. While the base configuration seats four, adding both leaves allows the table to comfortably accommodate up to six or eight guests, depending on your chair spacing.

The conversion varnish creates a hard, protective barrier that is significantly more resistant to moisture, heat, and scratches than standard lacquer. It is designed to preserve the wood's natural grain while standing up to the rigors of daily family meals.

Assembly is required, but it is straightforward. You will primarily need to attach the pedestal base to the tabletop and assemble the chairs. We recommend having a second person on hand to help flip the table once the base is secured.

The geared slides allow the table to open evenly from the center with a smooth, synchronized motion. This mechanism ensures that both sides of the table move at the same time, making it much easier to insert or remove the leaves without the table binding or becoming misaligned.
