The dual-plane, inertially-balanced driver topology is designed to cancel out cabinet vibrations. By balancing the forces of the active drivers, the subwoofer remains stable even at high volumes, which results in tighter, more accurate bass without the distortion or 'chuffing' often caused by cabinet resonance.

With a 1600-watt Class D amplifier and a driver array consisting of two 12-inch active drivers and two large passive radiators, this unit is engineered to handle demanding home theater environments. It is capable of delivering significant output and deep, cinematic low-frequency effects that can fill most medium-to-large living spaces.

Passive radiators allow the subwoofer to move more air and achieve deeper bass extension than a sealed cabinet of similar size could manage on its own. This setup helps the subwoofer couple more effectively with your room, providing a smoother, more natural bass response that feels less localized.

The Super Sub XXL features standard LFE (Low-Frequency Effects) and Right/Left line-level inputs, making it compatible with almost any modern home theater receiver or pre-amplifier. You will simply need a standard subwoofer cable to connect the LFE output on your receiver to the LFE input on the back of the unit.

The unit measures approximately 19.75 inches wide, 17.625 inches high, and 15.875 inches deep. Because it is quite heavy at 82 pounds and utilizes passive radiators, you should place it on a solid, level surface with enough clearance to ensure the drivers aren't obstructed.
