The system uses a multi-layered approach that combines ultrafiltration membranes, coconut-shell activated carbon, redox alloys, and mineral-infused ceramic balls. This combination works to physically block contaminants while chemically reducing heavy metals, chlorine, and volatile organic compounds, all while balancing the water's pH.

The Voyager is designed for straightforward inline installation, meaning it connects directly to your existing water line. If you are comfortable with basic plumbing connections like tightening fittings, you should be able to install it without professional help.

The system includes a built-in flow-reduction indicator. As the filter media becomes saturated with contaminants, you will notice a decrease in water flow, which serves as your signal that it is time to replace the cartridges.

While highly effective at reducing common contaminants like chlorine, heavy metals, and VOCs, this system is not designed to remove 100% of all dissolved solids. It focuses on improving taste, odor, and safety by targeting specific impurities while retaining beneficial minerals.

This filter requires an operating pressure between 20 psi and 60 psi. If your home's water pressure falls outside this range, you may experience either insufficient flow or potential damage to the housing.

Under normal residential usage, the filter is rated for up to 10,000 gallons, which typically translates to a lifespan of one to three years. Your actual replacement interval will depend on your local water quality and daily consumption volume.
