Pentair Freshpoint F3000 Filtration System

The F3000 system requires the installation of the included dedicated side faucet. It is designed to provide filtered water exclusively for drinking and cooking, keeping it separate from your main tap's hot and cold water supply.

Maintenance is straightforward thanks to the click-in cartridge design. You simply twist and pull to remove the old filter and click the new one into place, with color-coded markers to ensure you install the correct cartridge in the right spot.

The F3000 is certified to reduce over 60 contaminants, including lead, chlorine, cysts, and PFAS. It uses a three-stage carbon block process to ensure your tap water is cleaner and safer for consumption.

While the system is designed for a relatively simple under-sink installation, it does require drilling a hole in your countertop or sink for the dedicated faucet. If you are comfortable with basic plumbing tools and drilling, it is a manageable DIY project, but many homeowners prefer professional assistance to ensure a leak-free setup.

Filter life depends on your local water quality and daily usage, but generally, the cartridges should be replaced every six months to maintain optimal filtration performance and flow rate.
