Giant Trance Advanced Pro

The Trance Advanced Pro 29 2 uses a flip chip located on the rocker arm. This allows you to change the head tube and seat tube angles, as well as the bottom bracket height, so you can tune the bike's handling to be either more stable for steep descents or sharper for tight, technical climbing.

This bike is designed for versatility. With its 120mm of rear travel and efficient Maestro suspension system, it balances climbing efficiency with enough capability to handle aggressive, technical descents, making it well-suited for all-day trail rides.

The Maestro system is a reliable, multi-pivot design. Like any full-suspension bike, you will need to perform routine air sleeve service on the shock and keep the pivot bearings clean and lubricated to maintain smooth performance and prevent creaking.

The bike comes stock with 2.5-inch tires, which provide a great balance of grip and rolling speed. While there is some clearance for slightly wider rubber, you should be mindful of mud clearance at the chainstays if you decide to upgrade.

The Advanced-grade composite frame is engineered for high impact resistance in key areas. However, like any carbon frame, it is wise to use frame protection tape on the downtube and chainstays if you frequently ride in areas with loose, rocky terrain.

The integrated storage allows you to carry trail essentials like a tube, tire levers, or a multi-tool inside the frame rather than in a pack. It keeps the weight low on the bike for better handling and lets you ride without a backpack on shorter loops.
