Anthropologie Rattan Bat

This piece is designed specifically for indoor use. Because it is made from natural rattan, exposure to moisture or direct sunlight outdoors could cause the material to warp, fade, or degrade over time.

The lightweight rattan construction makes it easy to mount using a simple adhesive hook, a small nail, or even double-sided mounting tape. Its open weave also allows you to easily loop a piece of fishing line or twine through the back if you prefer to hang it from a hook or branch.

The bat features a black finish applied to the natural rattan. This provides a uniform, sophisticated look while still allowing the organic texture and weave of the material to remain visible.

While it is primarily designed as a wall accent, the bat can be propped up against a stack of books, a mantel mirror, or a tray to create a tabletop display. It does not have a built-in stand, so it will need to lean against a stable surface.

To clean, simply dust it gently with a soft, dry cloth or a can of compressed air to remove debris from the crevices. When the season ends, store it in a cool, dry place wrapped in tissue paper to protect the rattan from being crushed.
