While it is not fully submersible, the Clash II features a Clutch Armor System that seals critical internal components against saltwater intrusion. This design provides excellent protection for inshore fishing without adding the bulk of a fully sealed reel.

The slow oscillation system ensures that your fishing line is laid onto the spool in a tight, consistent pattern. This reduces friction during the cast, which helps you achieve longer, more accurate distances with both mono and braided lines.

With a 15-pound max drag and a robust metal body, this reel is well-suited for a wide range of inshore species, from speckled trout and redfish to snook. Its carbon fiber drag system is smooth enough to handle strong runs, making it quite versatile for its size.
