Elaztech is a highly resilient, stretchy material that is significantly more durable than traditional soft plastics. It resists tearing from fish strikes, which helps the tail stay intact much longer during repeated use.

While it excels in calm conditions where the wake is most visible, the square bill helps the lure maintain its action even in light chop. However, it is primarily designed as a surface wakebait, so it performs best when the surface isn't too turbulent.

Because the tail is made from durable Elaztech, you won't need to replace it nearly as often as standard rubber tails. Each lure comes with two interchangeable tails, so you have a backup ready if one eventually wears out or gets damaged.

Given its size and topwater nature, a medium-heavy to heavy baitcasting rod with a moderate-fast action is ideal. Using a braided line or a heavy monofilament helps with hooksets and keeps the lure on the surface effectively.
