For the best results, place your sleeping bag or clothing inside, roll the top down three times to seal it, and then tighten the four compression straps evenly. The air will escape through the bottom eVent fabric as you tighten the straps, allowing you to achieve a significantly smaller pack size.

A 14-liter sack is generally ideal for a standard 3-season sleeping bag or a collection of bulky clothing. If you have a large winter-rated bag, you may need a larger capacity, but for most backpacking setups, this size is the sweet spot.
