The bushed driver design is specifically engineered to handle the high-impact, repetitive loads common in dirt jumping and singlespeed riding. By replacing traditional bearings in the driver mechanism, it offers superior durability and resistance to the side-loading forces that can cause standard bearings to fail prematurely.

The Halo DJD features a standard 135mm rear spacing and comes with bolt-in fittings. If your frame requires a thru-axle setup, you can adapt this hub using optional conversion kits, making it a versatile choice for various frame standards.

Because the bushed driver is designed for high-impact durability, it is generally lower maintenance than a standard pawl-and-bearing system. However, you should still perform periodic cleaning and lubrication to ensure the driver continues to engage smoothly and quietly.

While it is optimized for the rigors of dirt jumping and singlespeed riding, its robust forged aluminum construction makes it perfectly capable of handling aggressive trail riding. Just keep in mind that it is a singlespeed-specific hub, so it will not work with a multi-gear drivetrain.

The bolt-in fittings feature a convenient hex interface, meaning you can easily install or remove the wheel using a standard Allen key. This design simplifies wheel changes at the track or trail without needing a dedicated wrench.

This hub utilizes the industry-standard International Standard 6-bolt mount. It is compatible with almost all standard 6-bolt disc brake rotors on the market.
