FSA Duron X Road Headset

This headset is designed specifically for traditional threaded road bike systems. It fits frames with a 30.0 mm head tube inner diameter and uses the EC30/25.4-24tpi or EC30/26 standard, so you should verify your frame's specific threading and diameter before purchasing.

The total stack height is 40.5 mm, with the upper stack measuring 27.5 mm and the lower stack measuring 13 mm. This is an important measurement to check against your existing fork steerer length to ensure you have enough threads for a secure installation.

The Duron X features micro angular contact sealed bearings. These are superior to traditional loose ball bearings because they provide smoother rotation and are better protected against road grit and moisture.

While it is built with durable, CNC-machined aluminum and sealed bearings, it is primarily intended for road cycling. If you are riding on rougher terrain, the sealed bearings will offer good protection, but ensure your frame's head tube standard matches the EC30 specifications.
