This kit is specifically engineered for compatibility with Mountain Boy kicksleds. We do not recommend attempting to use it with other brands, as the attachment points and safety features are designed to integrate seamlessly with our specific frame geometry.

While many breeds enjoy pulling, this kit is best suited for medium-to-large dogs that are physically fit and enjoy running. Always consult with your veterinarian before starting any new, strenuous exercise program with your pet.

The installation is straightforward and designed for quick setup. The kit includes all necessary hardware, and you can expect to have the brake and snow floats attached to your kicksled in just a few minutes with basic tools.

The kit is designed for users 3 years and older. Because the sled is human-steered, the rider should be capable of operating the brake and steering the kicksled safely while the dog provides the forward momentum.

Snow floats are essential for stability, especially in deeper or softer snow conditions. They increase the surface area of the sled's runners, preventing the kicksled from sinking and ensuring a smoother, more controlled ride for both you and your dog.
