Bones Skate Park Formula

The Park Formula uses a proprietary urethane specifically engineered to handle the unique friction and impact of smooth concrete surfaces. While street wheels are often designed to absorb rougher asphalt vibrations, these are optimized to maintain speed and grip on polished park transitions.

Bones specifically formulated this urethane to resist flat spotting, even under the high-impact stress of park skating. While no wheel is completely immune to abuse, this formula is significantly more durable than standard urethane when subjected to technical maneuvers and slides.

The 84b scale is a harder durometer measurement, which translates to a faster, more responsive ride on smooth surfaces. This hardness provides the necessary slide control for park tricks while ensuring you don't lose speed when pumping through transitions.

The P5 shape is designed to balance stability and responsiveness. It offers a wider contact patch for grip during carves and transitions, while the profile shape ensures the wheel remains agile enough for technical flip tricks.

While you can ride them on the street, they are optimized for the smooth, consistent surfaces of skate parks. On rougher street terrain, the harder 84b durometer will feel significantly less forgiving and vibrate more than a softer street-specific wheel.
