JS Keel

Traditional keel fins are typically swept back, which prioritizes down-the-line speed and long, drawn-out turns. The JS Keel uses an upright template with a wider base, allowing you to pivot more sharply and execute tighter radius turns without sacrificing the stability you expect from a twin-fin setup.

These fins are designed specifically for the FCS II fin system. As long as your board is equipped with FCS II boxes, they will fit perfectly. They are best suited for fish, funboards, and dedicated twin-fin shapes.

Performance Glass is known for its durability and consistent flex pattern. It provides a stiffer, more responsive feel underfoot, which helps you maintain speed through turns and gives you more confidence when pushing hard on the open face of a wave.

While these fins offer excellent stability, they are engineered for performance-oriented twin-fin surfing. If you are still learning the basics of turning and board control, you might find them a bit too responsive; they are best for intermediate to advanced surfers looking to sharpen their turns on a fish or twin-fin.

The high surface area of the JS Keel is a major advantage in smaller conditions. It helps generate and maintain speed through flatter sections of the wave, ensuring you don't bog down during roundhouse cutbacks or when transitioning between turns.
