The Slasher is specifically designed for 2+1 setups, where it acts as the center fin paired with two smaller side bites. It provides the stability needed for longboards, mid-lengths, and eggs, but can also be used in smaller single-fin shortboards.

A 50/50 symmetrical foil ensures consistent water flow on both sides of the fin. This creates predictable handling and smooth transitions, making it easier to maintain control during rail-to-rail turns.

It strikes a balance between both. The moderate base and rake provide enough stiffness for responsive, performance-oriented turns, while the balanced template remains stable enough for relaxed, flowing lines on a mid-length or longboard.

A 7-inch fin is generally ideal for mid-lengths or as a center fin in a 2+1 longboard setup. If you are riding a traditional log and looking for maximum hold, you might want something larger, but for a 2+1 setup, this size is perfect for maneuverability.
