Polyurethane is significantly lighter and more compact than traditional butyl rubber. Pirelli's specific formulation is also engineered to be twice as strong, offering better puncture resistance while drastically reducing the rotational mass of your wheels.

This tube is specifically designed for 29-inch wheels with a tire width between 1.80 and 2.20 inches. It will not fit properly if your tires are wider than 2.20 inches or narrower than 1.80 inches.

While this is an inner tube, it is an excellent choice for riders who want to save weight or need a reliable, compact spare to carry on the trail. If you are currently running a tubeless setup, this tube is the ideal emergency backup because it takes up very little space in your pack.

Installation is very similar to a standard butyl tube, but you should be careful not to pinch the tube during tire seating. We recommend adding a very small amount of air to give the tube shape before inserting it into the tire to ensure a smooth fit.
