Tough-1 Stirrup

These stirrups are specifically designed for younger riders. While the aluminum construction is durable, the dimensions are scaled for smaller feet and youth saddles, so they may be too narrow or uncomfortable for most adults.

The leather-wrapped tread provides significantly better grip than a smooth metal surface. It helps prevent a rider's boot from slipping, which is especially important for young riders who are still developing their balance and leg position.

These stirrups are sold as a pair, but they do not include the stirrup leathers or fenders required to attach them to your saddle. You will need to use your existing stirrup leathers to install them.

Aluminum is naturally resistant to rust, making these a low-maintenance choice for trail riding. However, because the tread is wrapped in leather, you should wipe them down and allow them to dry properly after riding in wet conditions to preserve the leather's integrity.

This refers to the leather reinforcement used where the stirrup connects to the saddle or fender. It adds a layer of durability to high-friction points, helping to prevent the metal stirrup from wearing through the leather attachment over time.
