It is highly versatile. The feathers have enough movement and durability to work well on larger, aggressive streamer patterns, but they are also fine enough to be used on nymphs and wet flies where you need a bit of extra flash and texture.

The UV-reflective finish is integrated into the material and is designed to withstand repeated strikes. While no fly material is indestructible, this hackle maintains its shape and reflective properties better than standard dyed feathers after multiple fish.
