The UV-reactive finish helps the eyes stand out in low-light conditions or deeper water where UV light penetrates further than visible light. This creates a high-visibility focal point that predatory fish often key in on when hunting.

Not at all. They are designed to be easily tied onto the hook shank or integrated into the body of the fly. Their shape allows them to be secured firmly with thread wraps without adding unnecessary bulk.

These are medium-sized eyes. While they are versatile, they are best suited for medium-to-large patterns; they may be slightly oversized for very small, delicate shrimp flies.

While thread wraps are usually sufficient to hold them in place, many tiers prefer to add a small drop of head cement or UV resin over the wraps for extra durability, especially when fishing in saltwater environments.
