Assos Rain Gloves

These gloves are constructed from neoprene, which is inherently waterproof. They are designed to keep your hands dry and warm in wet conditions, though like most cycling gloves, water can eventually enter through the cuff if you are riding in a torrential downpour.

They are perfectly suitable for both. The low-volume neoprene construction and printed grippers on the palm provide the tactile control needed for technical mountain bike handling as well as precise road bike shifting and braking.

These gloves are designed with a low-volume, streamlined fit to ensure you maintain a good feel for the handlebars. If you plan on wearing them over a thin liner glove for extra warmth, you may want to size up to ensure you don't restrict your circulation.

Neoprene is excellent at retaining heat, so these are best suited for cool, wet weather. If the temperature rises significantly, you may find them too warm, as they are not designed with the high-ventilation mesh found in summer-weight gloves.

Assos uses a minimal seam construction specifically to avoid irritation. By reducing the number of seams, they have created a glove that feels more like a second skin, which is crucial for comfort during long hours in the saddle.
