Motta Grinder Funnel

The Motta funnel is designed with a universal fit to sit securely atop most standard espresso grinders. However, it is best suited for grinders with a standard portafilter fork or cradle design.

While the funnel primarily prevents grounds from spilling over the edges of your portafilter, the stainless steel construction is easy to clean and helps maintain a tidy workflow. It does not actively eliminate static, but it ensures all grounds are captured directly into the basket.

Yes, the heavy-duty stainless steel construction is dishwasher safe. We recommend hand washing to maintain the polished finish over time, but it is durable enough to withstand standard dishwasher cycles.

By creating a wider target for your grounds, the funnel allows you to grind directly into the portafilter without worrying about overflow. This makes it much easier to distribute and level your coffee bed without losing any product.

The funnel is designed to sit on top of standard 58mm portafilter baskets. It may not provide a flush seal on smaller baskets, such as those found on entry-level home machines.
