FSA Bottom Bracket

This bottom bracket is specifically designed for frames with an Italian threaded shell (70mm width). Before purchasing, please verify that your frame shell is Italian-threaded, as it is not compatible with standard English (BSA) threaded frames.

This unit uses a Square Taper JIS spindle interface. It is compatible with most classic and modern cranksets that utilize the JIS square taper standard, but it will not work with external bearing, Hollowtech II, or splined cranksets.

The unit features double snap seals designed to keep water and debris out of the internal bearings. While it is built for durability, regular maintenance is still recommended if you frequently ride in heavy rain or mud to ensure the longest possible lifespan.

Yes, you will need a standard square taper bottom bracket tool that fits the splines on the cups. Because this is an Italian-threaded unit, remember that the drive-side cup tightens clockwise, which is the opposite of the standard English-threaded drive side.
