INNOVA Halo TL3

The Halo TL3 features a specialized two-tone manufacturing process that typically results in a slightly stiffer flight plate and a more overstable flight path compared to the standard Star TL3. This makes it a bit more resistant to turn, especially when thrown at higher speeds.

While it is still made from durable Star plastic, the Halo process often creates a slightly different texture on the rim and flight plate. Most players find it offers a firm, reliable grip that feels secure in various weather conditions.

The TL3 is known for being a 'workhorse' fairway driver. You can expect a very straight flight with minimal fade at the end, making it excellent for hitting tight gaps or executing controlled, tunnel-shot lines.

While the TL3 is a very controllable fairway driver, the Halo version is slightly more overstable than the standard model. Beginners might find it requires a bit more arm speed to get a full, straight flight, but it is a great disc to grow into as your technique improves.

The two-tone design is primarily an aesthetic feature created during the molding process. However, the specific cooling process required for the Halo effect does contribute to the disc's slightly increased stability and stiffness.
