The Halo process typically results in a slightly stiffer flight plate and a more overstable flight path compared to standard Star plastic. This added stability helps the disc resist turning over too quickly, even when thrown with high power.

The Shryke is a high-speed distance driver, which generally requires significant arm speed to achieve its intended flight path. Beginners may find it difficult to control and might be better served by a disc with a lower speed rating until they develop more consistent throwing technique.

You can expect a high-speed turn followed by a reliable, forward-penetrating fade. Because of the Halo manufacturing, it tends to hold that turn longer before fading, making it excellent for long, sweeping distance shots.

The Halo manufacturing process creates a unique two-tone aesthetic that varies from disc to disc. Because these are produced in batches with specific color combinations and weight ranges, we cannot guarantee a specific look or exact gram weight for your order.

The two-tone design is purely aesthetic and does not change the texture or grip of the Star plastic. You will get the same reliable, tacky feel across the entire surface of the disc, regardless of the color pattern.
