Haro Sealed Bottom Bracket

This is a Mid-sized bottom bracket, which is the standard for most modern BMX frames. Before purchasing, verify that your frame is specifically designed for a Mid bottom bracket shell, as it will not fit American or Euro standards.

This bottom bracket is designed for a 19mm spindle diameter. You will need to ensure your existing crankset uses a 19mm spindle for this to be compatible.

The sprocket washer, often called a top hat, acts as a spacer to ensure your sprocket is properly aligned with your chainline. It helps prevent chain drop and ensures smooth power transfer from your pedals to the drivetrain.

Sealed bearings are significantly more durable and require much less maintenance than loose ball systems. They are protected from dirt, grit, and moisture, which keeps the rotation smooth even after heavy use in harsh riding conditions.

While you can install these with a standard bearing press, you will need a basic set of bike tools to remove your old cranks and press the new bearings into the frame. If you don't have a bearing press, a rubber mallet and a block of wood can work, but a proper press is recommended to avoid damaging the bearings.
