Berk Handlebar Tape

This tape is significantly thinner than traditional cork or gel options. At just 1mm thick, it is designed for riders who want a direct, tactile connection to the handlebars rather than a cushioned, vibration-dampening feel.

The synthetic material is designed to maintain a consistent grip even when damp. However, because it lacks the porous texture of cork, it may feel slightly slicker than foam-based tapes if you are riding without gloves in heavy rain.

At 2000mm in length, this tape provides standard coverage for most road drop bars. If you are running exceptionally wide gravel bars with a deep flare, you may need to overlap the tape slightly less than usual to ensure full coverage.

The synthetic material has a moderate amount of stretch, allowing for a tight, clean wrap around the bends of your handlebars. We recommend pulling it taut as you wrap to ensure a secure fit that won't shift over time.

Absolutely. While the material is designed to match the aesthetic and texture of Berk saddle padding for a cohesive look, it functions perfectly well as a standalone, minimalist tape on any bike build.
