This tool is versatile enough for both, but for the best results, we recommend using it on damp skin after a shower or foot soak. Softened skin is easier to exfoliate safely and effectively.

Rinse the tool thoroughly under warm water after every use to remove skin buildup. Allow it to air dry completely in a well-ventilated area before storing it to keep the surfaces hygienic.

While it is effective for rough patches, the pumice and file surfaces are abrasive by nature. If you have sensitive skin, use light pressure initially and avoid over-exfoliating to prevent irritation.
