Yes, the natural pumice is designed to be effective yet gentle. We recommend using it on damp skin after a bath or shower to smooth away calluses without being overly abrasive.

Because the handle is made of natural wood, it is best to rinse the pumice part carefully and avoid soaking the entire tool in water. Simply wipe the handle dry after use and store it in a well-ventilated area to prevent the wood from warping.

The ergonomic shape is designed to fit naturally in your palm, which provides better leverage and control. This makes it much easier to reach difficult areas like the heel or the ball of the foot compared to flat, handle-less pumice stones.

For the best results and to avoid irritation, we recommend using the file on softened, damp skin. Using it on completely dry, tough calluses can sometimes be less effective and may cause the skin to flake unevenly.

The pumice is permanently attached to the beechwood handle, so it is not designed to be replaced. With proper care and regular cleaning, the natural stone will last for a significant amount of time before needing a replacement.
