Maxxis Rambler SS TR

The Rambler SS is optimized for hardpack and mixed-terrain surfaces. Its tightly packed center knobs are designed for speed on firmer ground, while the shoulder lugs provide the necessary grip when you encounter looser corners.

While these are tubeless-ready, you can absolutely run them with inner tubes if you prefer. However, the tire is designed to perform best when set up tubeless, which allows you to run lower pressures for better traction and puncture resistance.

SilkShield provides a bead-to-bead layer of puncture protection without significantly stiffening the tire casing. You get the added durability against flats and sidewall cuts while maintaining a supple, comfortable ride feel.

The maximum recommended pressure for this tire is 60 PSI. Depending on your weight and the terrain, you will likely find better performance and comfort at significantly lower pressures, especially when running them tubeless.

The dual-compound rubber is engineered to balance longevity with grip. The harder center compound resists wear during long rides on pavement or hardpack, while the softer shoulder compound ensures you maintain traction during cornering.
