Tecnica Mach1 MV

MV stands for Medium Volume. This boot is designed for skiers with an average-width foot who find low-volume boots too tight and high-volume boots too loose. If you typically struggle with pressure points on the sides of your feet, this 100mm last is a great starting point.

T-Drive technology connects the shell and the cuff, creating a more efficient lever for power transmission. Essentially, it allows for a smoother, more progressive flex that helps you initiate turns with less effort and maintains better stability at higher speeds.

A 95 flex is generally considered a 'medium-stiff' rating, which is ideal for advanced skiers who want a balance of responsiveness and comfort. It offers enough support to drive a ski aggressively, but it isn't so rigid that it becomes fatiguing during long days on the mountain.

C.A.S. (Custom Adaptive Shape) refers to the boot's shell and liner, which are designed to be easily punched, ground, or molded by a professional bootfitter. While the materials are highly customizable, we strongly recommend having a certified bootfitter perform these modifications to ensure the structural integrity of the shell remains intact.

The Mach1 MV is built with performance in mind, but it includes a high-quality liner designed to retain heat. While it is not specifically insulated like a dedicated touring boot, the precise fit helps prevent the circulation-restricting pressure points that often lead to cold feet.
