Because it uses a lighter motor and battery system, the Shuttle SL-AM feels significantly more agile and natural on the trail. It mimics the handling of a traditional mountain bike much more closely than heavier, full-power e-bikes, making it easier to maneuver through tight corners and technical sections.

The system provides a total of 650Wh, split between a 400Wh main battery and a 250Wh range extender. The range extender is included with the bike and mounts easily to the frame, allowing you to extend your ride time significantly without needing to swap batteries mid-ride.

While it offers less raw torque than high-output e-bike motors, the 55Nm is tuned to provide a very natural, responsive power delivery. It is plenty for most steep terrain, provided you are willing to put in a bit more rider input than you would on a heavy-duty, high-torque motor.

The mixed-wheel configuration, which pairs a larger front wheel for rollover capability with a smaller rear wheel for agility, is specifically available on the XS frame size. This ensures that smaller riders get the same balanced handling and clearance as those on larger frames.

With 160mm of travel up front and 150mm in the rear, the suspension is designed to be highly capable on aggressive descents. It balances big-hit absorption with an efficient pedaling platform, meaning you don't lose energy on the climbs while still having plenty of support when the trail gets rough.
