The hybrid rocker provides excellent float and a surfy, playful feel in deep powder. While it excels in soft snow, the full-contact steel edges ensure you still maintain reliable grip and stability when you encounter firm or icy conditions on the descent.

The anti-ice topsheet is designed to prevent snow and ice from sticking to the top of your skis. This is particularly useful during long tours, as it keeps your gear lightweight by preventing heavy snow buildup throughout the day.

The sintered black base is high-quality and built for speed. While it offers excellent glide performance, like all sintered bases, it requires regular waxing to maintain its speed and durability over time.

Full cap construction generally creates a lighter, more forgiving ski compared to traditional sidewall builds. Combined with the carbon layup, the Hyper V8 feels snappy and responsive without being overly demanding or rigid.
