Yes, the AMS Frame Guard is designed with universal compatibility in mind. Because the kit consists of multiple adhesive pieces, you can customize the placement to fit the geometry of almost any mountain, road, or gravel bike frame.

The finish is transparent, but it is not completely invisible. Depending on your frame's color and finish, you may see a slight texture from the honeycomb pattern or a faint outline where the adhesive edges sit, though it remains very subtle.

When removed correctly, the adhesive should not damage your frame's paint or clear coat. We recommend using a hairdryer to gently warm the material before peeling it off, which softens the adhesive and allows for a clean, residue-free removal.

Yes, you can apply it to matte frames, but keep in mind that the guard itself has a slight sheen. This will create a glossy patch wherever the guard is placed, which will be visible against the matte finish of your bike.
