Crux Thermal Control Kit

This kit is compatible with any CamelBak reservoir that features the Quick Link system. If your current tube disconnects from the reservoir via a click-in connector, this kit will integrate seamlessly.

The insulated tubing significantly slows down the freezing process, keeping water flowing in cold conditions. However, it is not a heater; if you leave the tube exposed to sub-zero temperatures for extended periods without drinking, the water inside may eventually freeze.

The integrated cover is designed to slip over the bite valve and stay secure while you are on the move. It protects the valve from ice buildup and debris, and it is easy to flip open or remove when you need a drink.

Installation is straightforward and requires no tools. You simply disconnect your current tube at the Quick Link point and snap the new insulated tube into place.

While designed for winter, the insulation also helps keep your water cooler for longer during hot summer hikes. You can leave it on year-round if you prefer, though the tube is slightly bulkier than the standard version.
