Thanks to the titanal plate underfoot and the homogeneous flex pattern, the Solis offers exceptional edge grip and stability. It is designed to track reliably through challenging conditions rather than chatter, giving you confidence when speed control is critical.

The long 25-meter radius is intentional; it prevents the ski from oversteering, which is crucial when you are navigating tight, steep chutes. While it requires a more deliberate input than a slalom ski, the progressive rocker helps initiate turns smoothly without feeling hooky.

While it can handle resort terrain, the Solis is quite specialized. If you spend most of your time on groomed runs or in the park, you will likely find the stiff flex and long turn radius cumbersome. It shines best when the mountain gets steep and the snow gets firm.
