The mullet configuration pairs a 29-inch front wheel for better rollover and stability with a 27.5-inch rear wheel that increases maneuverability. This combination makes it easier to flick the bike through tight corners and steep, technical sections without sacrificing front-end traction.

While the Nomad is an enduro machine built for aggressive descending, its VPP suspension platform is designed to be efficient enough for pedaling back to the top. It is a capable climber, though its 170mm of travel is optimized for rough, technical terrain rather than long-distance cross-country riding.

The grease-port on the lower link allows you to easily inject fresh grease into the bearings without disassembling the suspension linkage. This simple feature significantly extends the lifespan of your pivot bearings and keeps the suspension feeling smooth over time.

Wireless shifting is generally lower maintenance than traditional cable-actuated systems because there are no cables to stretch or housing to clog. You will simply need to keep the derailleur battery charged and ensure the firmware is updated via the manufacturer's app.

The Nomad Carbon MX comes with a fixed 170mm of travel in both the front and rear, which is specifically tuned for its enduro geometry. While you cannot change the travel amount, the air-sprung fork and shock allow you to fine-tune the sag and progression to match your specific weight and riding style.

The internal routing on this frame is designed to be clean and protected from trail debris. While it requires a bit more patience during initial setup compared to external routing, it keeps the cockpit tidy and prevents cable rub on the frame.
