The front-mounted camera serves two purposes: it assists the robot with navigation and mapping, and it functions as a security monitor. You can access the camera feed remotely via the companion app to check on your home while you are away.

While the app offers convenient features like scheduling and remote monitoring, users frequently report connectivity issues. You may occasionally need to troubleshoot the connection to ensure the robot responds to your commands.

The Hom-Bot is best suited for light, routine maintenance rather than deep cleaning. Because it can struggle with debris pickup, it may not be the most effective choice if you have pets that shed heavily or require frequent, high-capacity cleaning.
