The sculpture arrives with an intentional rust patina that is designed to evolve. While the finish is stable, it is raw metal; if placed on a light-colored patio or stone, it may leave faint rust marks if it gets wet, so we recommend placing it directly on soil, mulch, or gravel.

The built-in galvanized stakes are designed to be driven fully into the ground until the base of the sculpture sits flush with the soil. This provides the necessary leverage to keep the 65-inch frame stable against wind and uneven terrain.

Yes, 16-gauge steel is substantial and durable. Once the stakes are properly anchored into the ground, the sculpture is rigid and heavy enough to remain secure in typical outdoor conditions without wobbling.

Very little. Because the rust patina is the intended finish, you do not need to paint or seal it. If you notice any loose debris or dirt buildup over time, simply rinse it with a garden hose.

The sculpture is designed specifically for soft ground installation using the included stakes. To install it on concrete or a deck, you would need to modify the base or construct a custom mounting bracket, as the stakes cannot penetrate hard surfaces.
